The office received more then 30 phone calls from frustrated students and parents with traffic this morning. The Main Street and Kirby Road light is still being adjusted by the North Texas Tollway Authority, causing major delays up to 40 minutes this morning.
Hall sweep was released this morning due to the traffic backups. Several teachers and students were late.
“It was an inconvenience for students, especially for people who live far,” senior Bijan Celestin said.
Others were almost late, causing headaches.
“It sucked. I left my house at 6:30 and picked up two others,” junior David Luwandowsky said. ”I almost didn’t make it before the bell.”
